In 2007 Dell connected his military leadership experience and his expertise in munitions with his core value of servant leadership and found his life’s passion and purpose in law enforcement.
Beginning his career in law enforcement, Dell spent 4 years with the Geronimo and Medicine Park Police Departments. From there he secured a full-time Police Officer position with the Comanche Nation Police Department and has enjoyed 10+ years of service and leadership within the department. His passion and pursuit of being a servant-leader in the community led him to become a candidate for Sheriff In 2012, where he received 20% of the vote against the county’s long time Sheriff. In 2020 he continued his pursuit of the office, receiving a substantial increase to 40% of the votes. In 2021, Dell stepped away from the profession he loves to support and care for his family after the tragic loss of his wife Linda.
